I knew that photo would come back and bite me on the ass! Damn you Paul!

On a lighter note, hopefully by blogging our efforts, word will get out more and we might see a larger attendance at our next meeting. It's great to see that Molly is reading our posts too - talk about shaking hands across the pond..!

Paul, what a thoughtful and very kind write-up. This makes me feel especially good because the very purpose of my talk was to do exactly this - get people thinking about their role in this community. And it truly is a community - global and local, online and offline. Thanks for expressing how the last months have also inspired you in this way, I, too, have been profoundly moved by the energy at events such as @media and web05, and that in turn inspires me to want to work harder to contribute good things to our community and the world at large.
